A few months ago when seemingly life ground to a halt due to Covid we started spending a lot more time at home. I like everyone else stated looking for things to do to keep busy around the house. Maggie & I painted the basement and installed a slatted wood wall and I started to build a guitar. You can see my progress in the photos above. The idea was to build a body and neck out of scrap wood, perfect things and then choose some quality tone wood and build a second. Well, this is as far as I got before summer hit and we started spending time out in the mountains. I’m hoping as fall turns to winter I’ll pick the project up again.
